About half way through this video Ernesto Sirolli says this:

“Let me tell you a secret. There is a problem with community meetings. Entrepreneurs never come….

Planning has this blind spot: the smartest people in your community you don’t even know because they don’t come to your public meetings.”

    So many good things in this. Wow. As I was listening to this, I also read the following about how Big Government cannot build a simple website:

    Same idea – don’t tell other people what they have to do; ask them what they can do. Shut up and listen. If only we took this lesson to heart.
